The “Lucy” Behind LucyCo
Lucy set up her own shop 15 years ago, working out of a tiny office in Midtown with $2,500 she got from a second mortgage on her Honda. Through hard work, perseverance and resiliency, she grew her business into an award-winning public relations firm that still works with many of the same clients from the early days.
Lucy’s always out and about in town, whether she’s supporting local businesses, serving on committees or drumming up new business. She’s built her firm based on trust, integrity, quality and going above and beyond. (read more)

Testimonials...
LucyCo was instrumental in helping us launch an outreach campaign for our multi-million dollar water supply project. Most importantly, I give them an A+ for their client service. — Melissa Price,
Program Manager, City of Stockton
A wonderful job on the "For Art's Sake" site. It’s easy to navigate, good looking and captures what we are trying to accomplish. — Jane Hill,
artSMART consulting
Lucy has helped put Sacramento on the map — right next to New York and Boston — when it comes to respected marathons. She's helped the CIM grow from a few thousand runners to over 6,000. It's always great to see her out doing her thing, whether it's recruiting elected officials (who she calls "political animals"), drumming up community support or cheering on runners at the finish. — Jeff Starsky,
Folsom City Council Member
Our vidcast shoot and production was uncomplicated. Anyone can work with LucyCo on an idea and it will evolve seamlessly into a quality production that better illustrates a project than even the most creatively written text. — Linda Tucker,
Media and Communications Specialist, City of Sacramento
We are so excited about the rebranding package LucyCo helped us with. The web site, Facebook page and print materials reflect our personality perfectly. And, the client service was the bomb! — Todd Buckley,
Owner, Mosaic Salon
Thank you for hosting the podcasting seminar. It really was very informative and helped me to better understand the value of podcasting. — Scott Trujillo, Advertising Director,
Sacramento Magazine
The entire team explodes with creativity and has a hoot doing it. From full-blown campaigns to facilitation to public opinion research, they get it right! — Liz Brenner,
Neighborhood Services Manager,
City of Sacramento
My LucyCo internship provided great training and the opportunity to work with talented professionals. The best part was that it led to a public relations position at LucyCo where I received well-rounded experience for an exciting, fast-paced career. — Jill Scofield,
Director, Media Relations,
Foundation for California Community Colleges
Our U.S. Senators have used the Chamber's brochures on the floor many times in support of our issues. LucyCo staff has been instrumental in developing the brochures with water resources and flood control specialists and chamber staff. We appreciate all their efforts. — Derrick Whitehead, Chamber of Commerce Committee Chair,
Director of Environmental Utilities, City of Roseville
For years, I've worked with Lucy to promote the marathon. The marathon's such a great event because it promotes health and fitness, Sacramento and community involvement. LucyCo has tied itself to a winning event. It's awesome. — Steve Cohn,
