We’ve Walked the Walk for 14 Years
Water conservation. Recycling. Proper hazardous waste disposal. Since we specialize in these issues, it’s only natural we make being green part of our daily routine. In fact, one of our first projects in 1995 was water conservation-related. We created the “Sprinkle it Right” campaign with the City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities. The “Be Water Smart” campaign featuring Mr. Leaky was also a Lucy Eidam creation.

Recently, we made it official and became certified as an environmentally friendly business by Sacramento’s Business Environmental Resource Center. Here are a few things we do as a green business:

• Telecommute – several employees work from home on a regular basis
• Carpool, bike and use public transit, when possible
• Recycle office products, including batteries and e-waste
• Use recycled copier paper and folders
• Use rechargeable batteries
• Turn off lights, computers, fax machines and other electronics when not in use
• Use water wisely – landscaped our property with water efficient plants and installed drip irrigation
• Purchase recycled paper for developing communications materials
• Donate time at client and environmental-related events

Mr. Leaky spreads the word
Lucy Eidam developed Mr. Leaky in the mid '90s. He’s a water wasting character who learned how to properly use water by changing his daily habits.
