"Randy Brink. You gotta love him! He gives at least 15 hugs a day and ALWAYS says “you look so nice today, Luc.” He’s the best and I feel blessed that he’s chosen LucyCo as one of his places to hang out.
I met Randy over the phone in 1992. I volunteered to head up the Camellia Festival parade. The one bright spot was “this guy, Randy” who called every day wanting to know his parade day responsibilities.
When Randy arrived, he already had a ham radio and t-shirt. He wanted to know his title and duties. But, he was clear on one thing ... he reported to me that day because I was in charge.
Fast forward 16 years ... Randy visits the LucyCo office frequently. He always brightens our day with his smile, great stories and cheerful outlook. I hope you enjoy his site."

“I have known Randy since he attended McClatchy High School. I announced the football games and Randy would come up to the Press box to visit. He is always volunteering to assist at charitable events and last year Dan Scott the 2007 Potentate of Ben Ali Shriners, made Randy an honorary Shriner. Thanks from all of us who know and love Randy for giving him some well deserved PR.”
“Our family friend and #1 supporter since 2003. I often reflect on how good people love Randy. He brings out the best in all of us and is a blessing to the world.”
“Randy is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get, but it’s always sweet.”
“Randy lives by the motto, ‘If it’s free, I’ll take three. If it’s not free, I’ll still take three.’”
“Randy is an integral part of all our events and, even though he is a volunteer, everyone considers him part of the SCVB family.”
“Knowing Randy Brink is emphatically similar to one finding a penny heads-up. It’ll bring you luck for life. And, you can find Randy everywhere! From the Kings’ locker room, to the Cal Expo grounds, to working as taskmaster at local events, he’s resiliently oblivious to the word 'no.' What would we do without him?”
“I've just started looking at your new web site and I've been busy visiting "Randy's Corner". He's an amazing person and likewise so are you for providing people an opportunity to know more about him. Tell him I was a little sad that I didn't see him wearing any Grandma's Marathon items in the photos.”
“I have to compliment you on Randy's Corner. I have known Randy for a about 15 years and he constantly amazes me by whom he knows and his ongoing list of 'titles.' I remember seeing him approach Governor Wilson at ARCO Arena once. Security started to panic as they saw Randy make a B-line towards the Governor. The Governor reacted by yelling, 'Hey, Randy!' They were old friends.”
